Love Fulfils God's Requirements
Mark Nicholas
Romans Chapter 13 v 8-14
Continuing in Chapter 13 of Paul's letter to the church in Rome, and the theme of being a good citizen.
But make sure that you don’t get so absorbed and exhausted in taking care of all your day-by-day obligations that you lose track of the time and doze off, oblivious to God. The night is about over, dawn is about to break. Be up and awake to what God is doing! God is putting the finishing touches on the salvation work he began when we first believed.

What’s more, don’t let yourselves be squeezed into the shape dictated by the present age. Instead, be transformed by the renewing of your minds, so that you can work out what God’s will is, what is good, acceptable and complete.

Do You Know What You Are Called to Do?
Mark Nicholas
Romans Chapter 12 v 6-21
Reaching the second half of Chapter 12 of our journey through Paul's leter to the church in Rome, we reach one of the key passages on spiritual gifting.
As in one body we have many limbs and organs, you see, and all the parts have different functions, so we, many as we are, are one body in the Messiah, and individually we belong to one another.
Well then, we have gifts that differ in accordance with the grace that has been given to us, and we must use them appropriately.

It's All Grace; Mark Nicholas
Romans Chapter 11 v 1-6
Continuing in Romans, Mark picks up the theme of grace from the beginning of Chapter 11.
It is the same today, for a few of the people of Israel have remained faithful because of God’s grace—his undeserved kindness in choosing them. And since it is through God’s kindness, then it is not by their good works. For in that case, God’s grace would not be what it really is—free and undeserved.
