Hope in an Unlikely Situation, Mark Nicholas.
Luke Chapter 4 v 18 - 30
The second message in our Advent series on Hope looks at the plight of 2 women in apparently hopeless situations. The first a widow caught up in a severe famine and the second, a young girl who finds herself pregnant before her marriage. Both semingly impossible situations but both filled with a message of hope.
There's hope for the hopeless, And all those who've strayed
Come sit at the table, Come taste the grace
There's rest for the weary, Rest that endures
Earth has no sorrow, That heaven can't cure
(David Crowder)

God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it.
